The Former Vice President Mr. Aliu Mahama has urged the king of Gonja Land Yagbonwura Sulemana Tuntumba Bori Essa I to be an icon of peace in the Region.
He added that, they should always "shame and chase away politicians who always want to score political points whenever there is misunderstanding in the region more especially with chieftaincy related disputes".
He advised him to tackle issues with diplomacy. He did not forget to thank him for his support and prayer for Real Tamale United (R.T.U).
He congratulated the Yagbonwura for his accession of the Throne as the king of
Gonja Land.
Mr. Aliu Mahama made this remarks when he paid a courtesy call on the king at his palace as part of his tour in Northern, Upper East and west Regions.
